Buena Vista Sober Living

In California, sober living homes with six or fewer residents are not required to be licensed, as long as they don’t provide clinical treatment. Buena Vista Sober Living operates fully within those legal guidelines. While we are not a treatment facility, we maintain a highly structured environment with weekly drug testing, curfews, and required 12-step or recovery meeting attendance 2–3 times per week — all to support accountability, community, and long-term sobriety.

We operate in accordance with California law as a recovery residence, consistent with state and federal Fair Housing protections.
